Quiche Lorraine - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    9-inch unbaked pie shell
    1 medium onion, finely chopped
    1/2 c. grated Swiss cheese
    1 c. milk
    pinch of grated nutmeg
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    3 slices Canadian bacon (1/4-inch thick), diced
    4 eggs, slightly beaten
    1 c. heavy cream
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    In small heavy saucepan, heat butter. Add bacon and cook 5 minutes or until bacon is golden brown. Remove bacon and set aside. Add onions to pan and cook for 5 minutes. Remove onions and set aside.
