Strawberry Frosted Soda - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. boiling water
1 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry flavored gelatin
1 qt. cold milk
1 qt. strawberry ice cream

Preparation

Place boiling water and gelatin in blender container; cover and blend until gelatin is dissolved.
Pour 1/2 cup of the gelatin mixture into a measuring cup; set aside.
Add half of the milk to remaining gelatin mixture in blender container; blend on low speed until well mixed.
Add half the ice cream; cover and blend just until smooth.
Pour into tall glasses.
Repeat with reserved gelatin mixture, milk and ice cream.
Garnish each glass with a fresh strawberry, if desired.
Makes 6 servings.
