Dilly Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. active dry yeast
    1/4 c. warm water (110~ to 115~)
    1 c. large curd creamed cottage cheese
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 Tbsp. instant minced onion
    1 Tbsp. butter
    2 tsp. dill seed
    1 tsp. salt
    1 egg
    1/4 tsp. baking soda
    2 1/4 to 2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour, sifted
Preparation
    Sprinkle yeast over warm water; stir to dissolve.
    Heat cottage
    cheese
    until
    lukewarm.
    Combine in mixing bowl with sugar, onion,
    butter,
    dill
    seed, salt, baking soda, egg and yeast.
    Add flour
    a
    little at a time to make a stiff batter, beating well
    after
    each
    addition.
    Cover and let rise until doubled (50
    to 60 minutes).
    Stir down, turn into greased pan or 8-inch casserole
    dish.
    Cover
    and
    let rise 30 to 40 minutes. Bake in
    350\u00b0
    oven
    40 to 50 minutes.
    Cover with foil last 15 minutes to prevent excessive browning.
    Makes 1 loaf.
