Butterscotch Oatmeal Cookies - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. plain flour
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. Crisco
3/4 c. white sugar
3/4 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 Tbsp. hot water
1 c. walnuts, chopped
1 (6 oz.) pkg. butterscotch chips
2 c. quick oatmeal
Preparation

Cream Crisco and sugar.
Add eggs and beat well.
Add hot water.
Add flour mixed with soda and salt.
Add (stir by hand) nuts, oatmeal, vanilla and butterscotch chips.
Drop by heaping teaspoonfuls on a greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 minutes, just until lightly browned.
Do not overbake.
Let cool for a few minutes and carefully remove with spatula.
