Jalapeno Cornbread Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. yellow cornmeal
    1 c. milk
    2 eggs
    3/4 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 c. bacon drippings
    1 can cream-style corn
    1 lb. ground meat
    1 lg. onion, chopped
    1 lb. Dheddar cheese, grated
    5 canned jalapenos
Preparation
    Combine cornmeal, milk, beaten eggs, salt, soda, bacon drippings, and corn.
    Mix well, set aside.
    Brown meat until crumbly.
    Drain well on paper towels.
    Pour half of corn batter into well greased cast iron skillet or baking dish that has been dusted with cornmeal.
    Sprinkle grated cheese evenly over batter. Sprinkle meat evenly over cheese.
    Then sprinkle chopped onions and jalapenos over meat.
    Top with remaining cornbread batter. Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 50 minutes.
