Ingredients

2 sticks butter, slightly salted
1 c. sugar
1/2 beaten egg (save other half)
2 c. all-purpose flour
sniff of salt
2 drops vanilla flavor
peeled almonds (optional)
Preparation

Mix butter and sugar together.
Add egg half, salt and vanilla. Mix this, then add flour.
Make big ball and push this in pie dish (plus or minus 8-inch).
Decorate with almonds.
Coat with egg half (leftover).
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 minutes, then turn the oven off and let the cookie cool in the oven.
