Sliced Baked Potatoes - cooking recipe

4 medium potatoes
1 Tbsp. salt
2 to 3 Tbsp. melted butter
2 to 3 Tbsp. chopped herbs or dried
4 Tbsp. grated Cheddar cheese
1 1/2 Tbsp. Parmesan cheese
Preparation

Scrub potatoes and rinse them.
Cut them widthwise into thin slices, but not all the way through (like you would slice bread, but not all the way through). Put potatoes in a baking dish and fan them slightly.
Sprinkle them with salt and drizzle with butter.
Sprinkle on herbs. Bake at 425\u00b0 for about 50 minutes. Remove from oven. Sprinkle with cheeses. Bake another 10 minutes or until cheese is melted and potatoes are soft inside.
Makes 4 servings.
