Phyllis' Caramel Popcorn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 qt. popped corn
    1 c. pecans (optional)
    1 c. slivered almonds (optional)
    1 c. peanuts or cashews (optional)
    1/2 c. margarine, melted
    1 c. brown sugar
    1/4 c. honey
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix popcorn and nuts in lightly greased roasting pan.
    Add to margarine the brown sugar and honey.
    Bring to boil.
    Boil 5 minutes.
    Remove from heat.
    Add vanilla.
    Pour over popcorn.
    Stir until coated.
    Bake at 250\u00b0 for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes. Cool completely, then store in airtight container.
    Great for Christmas gifts or parties!
