Banana Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. granulated sugar
    1/3 c. all-purpose flour
    dash of salt
    4 eggs, separated (at room temperature)
    2 c. milk
    1/2 tsp. vanilla flavoring
    35 to 45 vanilla wafers
    5 to 6 ripe bananas
Preparation
    Reserve 1 banana and 10 to 12 vanilla wafers for garnish.
