Peppermint Stick Candy Layer Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 2/3 cup flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/2 cup shortening
1 1/2 cup sugar
1 egg yolk
1 tsp. vanilla
3 egg whites
3/4 cup milk
1 cup finely ground and 1/2 cup coarsely ground peppermint stick candy
1 cup sugar
2 heaping Tbsp. flour
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 tall can milk + 1/4 cup whole milk
1/2 stick butter
1 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Pour into baked pie shell and sprinkle with ground cinnamon.
