Strawberry Congealed Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry jello
    2 c. boiling water
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries, thawed
    1 small can crushed pineapple
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. softened cream cheese
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 (8 oz.) carton Cool Whip
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Dissolve jello in boiling water in an oblong dish.
    Set aside 1/4 cup jello mixture to use in topping.
    Stir strawberries and pineapple in dish.
    Chill.
