Gourmet Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 medium potatoes
    1/4 c. butter
    1 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. butter
    2 c. Cheddar cheese, shredded
    1/3 c. chopped onion
    1 1/2 c. sour cream
    crumbled bacon
Preparation
    Cook potatoes in skins and cool.
    Peel and shred coarsely. Cook onion in butter on low heat.
    Add cheese and stir until almost melted.
    Add sour cream and salt.
    Fold in potatoes and put into a greased 2 quart casserole.
    Sprinkle with 2 tablespoons butter and bacon.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1/2 hour.
