Famous Ashby Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

3 c. flour
2 c. sugar
2 tsp. soda
6 Tbsp. cocoa
1 tsp. salt
3/4 c. vegetable oil
2 Tbsp. vinegar
2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. cold water

Preparation

Sift first 5 ingredients together.
Resift all into 9 x 13-inch pan (ungreased).
Add remaining ingredients.
Stir with fork until well mixed.
Bake 40 minutes at 350\u00b0.
