Chili - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 pounds ground beef
1 medium onion
1 (15 ounce) can tomatoes, mashed
2 tablespoons chili powder
1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce or tomato juice
2 tablespoons vinegar
1/2 teaspoon cloves
3 (15 ounce) cans chili beans
Salt and pepper
1 (15 ounce) can kidney beans, rinsed and drained
Preparation

Brown meat; drain.
Saute onion.
Add tomato sauce, vinegar, chili powder, cloves, salt, and pepper.
Simmer 5 minutes.
Add beans.
Continue to simmer 15 minutes.
Take off heat.
Leave covered and let stand 20 minutes.
