Nicola'S Spaghetti Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 cloves garlic
    1 small onion
    1/2 lb. ground beef
    2 large cans Italian tomatoes
    4 oz. tomato puree
    1 Tbsp. rosemary
    1 Tbsp. basil
    salt
    olive oil
Preparation
    Saute garlic and onion (in cast-iron pan) in a few tablespoons of olive oil.
    Add beef.
    Simmer until just cooked.
    Add tomatoes, plus the juice, the paste or puree, a pinch of salt, rosemary and basil.
    Stir often for 10 minutes.
    Simmer on low, covered for 1 hour.
    To thicken, simmer longer, uncovered.
