Angel Flake Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. dry yeast
    1/4 c. very warm water
    3 c. wheat flour
    2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    3 tsp. sugar
    3 Tbsp. baking powder
    2 c. buttermilk *
    1/2 c. butter, margarine or Crisco
Preparation
    Place yeast in the water and let stand for 5 minutes.
    In large bowl stir together the flour, salt, baking soda, baking powder and sugar.
    By hand or pastry blender, cut the shortening into mixture. Add the dissolved yeast and the buttermilk; mix together well. Refrigerate in tightly closed bag.
    The dough will keep for 5 days.
