Granny'S Jam Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. butter
    1 c. sour milk
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. cloves
    3 eggs, beaten
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. blackberry jam
    1 tsp. soda
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    3 c. sifted flour
    1/3 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar together; add jam to egg yolks and mix together.
    Add butter and sugar mixture.
    Then mix all dry ingredients together.
    With sour milk, fold in beaten egg whites and vanilla.
    Blend all together.
    Place in 3 round lined, floured cake pans sprayed with Pam.
    Bake in preheated oven for 40 to 50 minutes at 350\u00b0.
