Anne'S Spaghetti Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1/2 c. chopped yellow onion
    1/2 c. chopped bell pepper
    1 small can mushroom pieces (not drained)
    1 (14 oz.) spaghetti sauce
    1/2 c. tomato catsup
    1/2 tsp. salt to taste
    pepper to taste
Preparation
    Using large skillet or Dutch oven, brown meat and drain off fat
    using
    strainer.
    Return
    to
    heat;
    add
    onion, bell pepper and
    mushrooms
    (with
    liquid
    from
    can).
    Cook until onions
    are translucent, stirring often.
    Add spaghetti sauce, catsup, salt and pepper.
    If sauce is too thick, water may be added
    until desired
    consistency
    is reached.
    Simmer for at least 30
    minutes to
    blend flavors, longer if needed.
    Serve over cooked thin spaghetti or vermicelli.
