Deep Dish Cheddar Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. chopped onions
    1/4 c. margarine
    1/4 c. flour
    3/4 tsp. sage
    1/4 tsp. salt
    dash of black pepper
    1 1/2 c. milk
    4 c. chopped, cooked chicken
    2 c. (8 oz.) shredded Cheddar cheese or cheese of choice
    1 regular can green peas, drained
Preparation
    Saute onion in 1/4 cup margarine. Blend in flour and seasonings. Gradually add milk; cook, stirring constantly, until thickened. Add chicken, cheese and peas; mix well.
    Pour into dish and bake at 350\u00b0 for about 30 minutes. Crust may also be added to top if you like.
