Punch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    2 c. water
    2 tsp. citric acid (drug store)
    2 small or 1 large can frozen orange juice
    1 qt. ginger ale
Preparation
    Combine sugar and water.
    Bring to a boil.
    When this begins to boil, set off stove and add citric acid.
    Stir well.
    In a gallon jug, add orange juice.
    Add mixture to jug and finish filling with water.
    Stir and add ginger ale.
