Spaghetti - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. ground beef
    1/2 c. chopped bell pepper
    1 c. chopped onion
    1 tsp. hot chili powder
    1 tsp. sugar
    2 tsp. oregano leaves
    1 tsp. garlic salt
    12 bay leaves
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1 (8 oz.) can water
    2 (No. 2) cans tomatoes
    1 tsp. oil
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Brown and drain
    ground beef in Dutch oven.
    Saute in 1 teaspoon oil the onion and pepper.
    Add seasonings.
    Add tomatoes, tomato sauce and water.
    Cover and simmer 1 1/2 hours; remove bay leaves.
    Serve over spaghetti.
