Microwave Chunky Apple Butter - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. shredded apples
1/2 c. white sugar
1/4 tsp. allspice
pinch of nutmeg
1/3 c. dark brown sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. cloves
Preparation

Combine in an 8 1/2 x 11-inch dish.
Cover tightly with plastic wrap.
Cook at 100\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
Remove from oven; uncover and mash if desired.
Cook, uncovered, at 100\u00b0 for 10 minutes longer.
Pack in sterile jars, or let stand until cool. Store, tightly covered, in refrigerator for up to 2 months.
(To make without sugar, reduce cooking time.)
