Ingredients

1 1/4 c. flour
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. oil
1 c. buttermilk
1 c. blackberry jam
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. allspice
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
3 eggs
1 c. finely chopped pecans
Preparation

Put all ingredients except pecans in large mixing bowl; blend with
mixer,
then
beat

minutes on medium speed of mixer, scraping bowl often. Fold in pecans.
Pour into greased and floured pans and bake 40 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
Frost with caramel frosting.
