Grandma'S Big Whites - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 eggs
    1 c. shortening (1/2 butter and 1/2 Crisco)
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. sour cream
    1 tsp. baking soda
    2 tsp. baking powder
    4 to 4 1/2 c. flour
Preparation
    Beat eggs to a froth.
    Mix shortenings together and cream. Add sugar, eggs, salt, nutmeg and vanilla.
    Mix together until creamy.
    In a separate bowl, mix the sour cream, baking soda and baking powder; beat fast until bubbly.
    Combine both mixtures and mix together.
    Add flour.
    (Dough will be sticky.)
    Roll out onto a floured board.
    Roll to desired thickness.
    Cut out.
    Bake at 425\u00b0.
