Fat-Free Tortilla Soup(Caldo Tlapeno From Cancun, Mexico) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 c. water
    4 chicken bouillon cubes
    3 1/2 c. potatoes
    1 1/2 c. carrots
    2 1/2 c. onions
    1 c. parsnips
    1 1/2 c. zucchini
    3 cloves garlic
    2 bay leaves
    1/2 to 1 tsp. red pepper
    1/2 tsp. cumin seed, ground
    1 c. sweet red bell pepper
    3 corn tortillas
    2 Tbsp. fresh cilantro
Preparation
    Bring the water and bouillon cubes to a boil.
    Peel and cube the first 5 vegetables and add to the broth.
    Dice the garlic and add it along with bay leaves, 1/2 to 1 teaspoon red pepper and the cumin seed.
    Simmer for 1 hour.
