Pickled Okra - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 qt. water
    1 pt. vinegar
    1 c. pickling salt
    dill (chilie pit in peppers)
    1 clove garlic (per jar)
Preparation
    Wash okra, leaving stems on.
    Pack in clean jars tightly.
    Mix ingredients for brine and bring to a boil. Pour over packed okra and seal tightly.
    Process in hot bath for 5 minutes.
    Small onions may be used like this also.
