Ingredients

2 Tbsp. margarine
1 onion
1 to 2 stalks celery
1/2 tsp. salt
6 c. beef broth
French bread
Parmesan cheese
Preparation

Melt margarine in round glass baking pan or casserole in microwave.
Wash and dice celery.
Slice onion.
Add onion, celery and salt to margarine.
Cover with wax paper; cook for 8 minutes in microwave, until vegetables are tender.
Let cool.
Add broth and heat.
