Pepper Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 qt. ripe tomatoes
    2 qt. onions
    4 qt. bell pepper
    1 stalk celery
    1 c. salt
    8 c. sugar
    1 qt. water
    1 qt. vinegar
    1 box mustard seed
    1/2 box celery seed
    1 Tbsp. turmeric
Preparation
    Chop all vegetables coarsely. Pour 1 cup salt over vegetables. Store in refrigerator overnight; drain. Mix the sugar, water, etc., thoroughly and pour over drained vegetables. Cook for 15 minutes; can in hot jars.
