Barbecued Beef Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. top round of beef, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
    3 Tbsp. olive oil
    1 clove garlic, chopped
    3 medium onions, chopped
    1 c. catsup
    1/2 c. vinegar
    1 tsp. curry powder
    1 tsp. paprika
    2 tsp. chili pepper
    1 Tbsp. brown sugar
    1 c. good beef stock
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/2 tsp. dry mustard
Preparation
    Brown beef in oil with garlic.
    Chop onions and add to the beef.
    Mix all remaining ingredients and pour over beef.
    Cover tightly and simmer about 1 1/2 hours or until the meat is tender. Makes 8 servings.
