Beef Stroganoff - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 medium onions, sliced
    1/4 c. vegetable shortening
    1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms, sliced
    1/2 lb. round steak, cut 1/4 inch strips
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1/4 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1/2 c. sour cream
    1/2 c. onions
    1/2 c. mushrooms
Preparation
    Saute onions in shortening.
    Add mushrooms.
    Cover and cook 5 minutes more.
    Remove onions and mushrooms from skillet.
    Brown round steak slowly and thoroughly.
    Add flour and mix well.
    Add 1 can canned tomatoes, pepper and Worcestershire sauce.
    Cover and cook very slowly for 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
    Add sour cream, onions and mushrooms.
    Cover and cook 1/2 hour longer. Serve over rice or noodles.
