Snowflake Biscuits - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 pkg. dry yeast
1/4 c. warm water
2 c. buttermilk (room temperature)
5 c. flour (all-purpose)
1 Tbsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. salt
3 Tbsp. sugar
3/4 c. Crisco
Preparation

Combine yeast and warm water; let set 5 minutes.
Add buttermilk to yeast mixture and set aside.
