Ingredients

1 c. peanut butter
1 c. sugar
3/4 c. margarine or butter, softened
1/4 c. light or dark corn syrup
1 egg
2 Tbsp. water
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. oatmeal (quick or old fashioned), uncooked
1 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 c. peanut butter
2/3 c. light corn syrup
Preparation

Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
Beat first 3 ingredients until fluffy. Add 1/4 cup corn syrup, egg, water and vanilla.
Mix until smooth. Stir in combined dry ingredients.
Roll into 1-inch balls.
Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
Press into 2 1/2-inch circles. Bake 9 to 11 minutes or until golden brown. Cool 1 minute. Remove to wire rack. Cool completely.
