Spring Macaroni Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. spring macaroni
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 c. diced celery
    1 medium green pepper, diced
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. hot water
    1/2 c. vinegar
    2 c. mayo
    1 1/2 tsp. turmeric powder
Preparation
    Cook spring macaroni according to package directions.
    Rinse and cool.
    Place in large mixing bowl.
    Add diced onion, celery and green pepper to cooled macaroni.
    In a saucepan, combine sugar, hot water and vinegar.
    Stir until the sugar dissolves. Place mayo and turmeric in a medium sized mixing bowl.
    Stir until smooth.
    Add the sugar, hot water and vinegar mixture to the mayo mixture.
    Mix well.
    Pour over the macaroni mixture in the large mixing bowl.
    Stir well.
    Refrigerate 24 hours.
    Stir once or twice before serving.
