Rum Broiled Bananas - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 medium ripe bananas, peeled and halved lengthwise
    4 tsp. lemon juice
    1/4 c. rum
    2 Tbsp. brown sugar
    1 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Preheat broiler.
    Place bananas in a single layer in an ovenproof baking dish.
    Sprinkle bananas with lemon juice.
    Pour rum over bananas.
    Sprinkle bananas with brown sugar and dot with butter.
    Broil 4 inches from heat until bananas are lightly browned and very tender, about 6 minutes.
    Serve hot from baking dish.
