"Old Timey" Caramel Frosting - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. brown sugar
1 c. milk
2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Mix sugar and milk.
Cook until it forms a soft ball when dropped in cold water.
Remove from heat. Add butter and vanilla. Cool slightly.
Beat until spreading consistency.
Requires much beating.
