Homemade Seasoned Croutons - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. bread cubes (made from stale bread, mixture is best)
    1/2 c. margarine
    1 garlic clove, minced
    2 Tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
    pinch of dried herbs
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Cut bread into medium-sized cubes, dry in the oven on a cookie sheet for 5 minutes.
    Melt margarine and saute garlic until soft.
    Place bread cubes in a large bowl.
    Pour melted margarine over cubes and add remaining ingredients.
    Toss well.
    Return to the oven on cookie sheet and bake for about 3 minutes, until lightly browned.
    Serve cooled croutons on salads or soups.
    Store in a covered container in the refrigerator.
