Butternut Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 lb. butter
    5 eggs
    2 c. flour
    1 c. pecan meats or other chopped nuts
    vanilla
Preparation
    Cream sugar and butter until it is fluffy or like ice cream. Add eggs one at a time.
    Add with flour, beating good after each egg, then flour addition.
    Add vanilla and nut meats.
    Cook in well-greased and floured tube pan.
    Bake 1 hour and 15 minutes at 350\u00b0.
