Angel Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 c. flour
    1/4 c. sugar
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. Crisco
    1 pkg. dry yeast
    1/4 c. warm water
    2 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Sift dry ingredients together; cut in shortening with pastry blender.
    Dissolve yeast in 1/4 cup warm water.
    Add alternately with buttermilk to dry ingredients; mix well.
    Roll out 1/4-inch thick on floured board; cut with biscuit cutter.
    Dip on one side in melted butter.
    Fold in half and place on ungreased cookie sheet.
    Bake immediately, or keep covered in refrigerator and bake as needed.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
    Yields 4 dozen.
