Fried Peppers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 green peppers
    salt, pepper, oregano and sweet basil leaves to taste
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
Preparation
    Rinse the peppers; dry them well.
    Cut the top off peppers and pull out the middle.
    Clean and cut peppers into slices.
    Fry them in a little oil.
    When they are a little soft, cut the onion in small pieces; put them in with the peppers.
    Let them cook a little, then add your can of tomato sauce, salt, pepper, oregano and basil leaves.
    Stir it all together as the peppers are cooking. If pepper mixture gets a little dry, add a little water.
    Cook Fried Peppers 20 to 30 minutes or until tender.
