Cloverleaf Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    1 c. boiling water (I use milk)
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. salt
    7 c. flour
    2 small eggs
    2 pkg. yeast
    1 1/2 c. lukewarm water
Preparation
    Combine shortening, boiling water, salt and sugar.
    Stir well until dissolved.
    When lukewarm, add well beaten eggs and yeast, softened in 1/2 cup of lukewarm water.
    Add remainder of water and stir in flour.
    Beat well and place in a covered bowl in refrigerator.
    When ready to use, shape into balls.
    Place 3 together in a muffin tin.
    Let rise for 3 hours.
    Bake in a hot oven for 15 minutes.
    Knead down dough every day.
