Buttermilk Fried Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 chicken, cut up
    1 to 2 c. buttermilk (may substitute sweet milk and 1 tsp. vinegar)
    1/2 tsp. Tabasco sauce
    2 c. flour
    2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. black pepper
    1 tsp. cayenne pepper
    1 tsp. Old Bay seasoning
    1/2 tsp. cumin
    1/2 tsp. chili powder
    1 tsp. parsley or oregano
    2 c. oil
Preparation
    Soak chicken in buttermilk and Tabasco sauce for 15 to 30 minutes.
    In a bowl, combine flour, spices and herbs.
    Lift the chicken pieces from the buttermilk and drain only briefly.
    Roll pieces in flour mixture.
