Dump Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can crushed pineapple with juice
    1 can cherry pie filling
    1 box dry yellow cake mix
    1 1/2 sticks butter
    1/2 to 1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Place in layers in 9 x 13-inch ungreased pan:
    pineapple with juice and pie filling.
    Then sprinkle cake mix and nuts.
    Cut in butter pieces over the top.
    Sprinkle with more nuts.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour and 20 minutes.
    Cool and top with Cool Whip.
