Banana Split Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (12 oz.) box vanilla wafers, crushed
    3/4 c. melted butter
    2 c. powdered sugar
    1 c. butter or margarine, softened
    2 eggs
    5 bananas, sliced (not too ripe)
    1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained
    1 (13 oz.) carton whipped topping
    1 c. chopped nuts, toasted
Preparation
    Combine crushed vanilla wafers with melted butter and mix well.
    Press onto sides and bottom of a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
