Spoonburgers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground lean beef
    1/4 c. finely cut onion
    1 1/2 Tbsp. hot fat
    1/2 c. evaporated milk
    1 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1/2 c. catsup or chili sauce
    8 split sandwich buns
Preparation
    Brown meat and onion in fat slowly in a skillet, stirring with fork to break up meat.
    Spoon off any fat left in skillet.
    Stir into meat mixture the milk, salt and pepper.
    Cook and stir over low heat until mixture thickens.
    Remove from heat and stir in catsup.
    Spoon meat mixture into buns.
    Serve hot, 2 to a serving. Makes 4 servings.
