Red Beet Eggs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 cans whole red beets
    2 doz. hard-boiled eggs
    1 c. vinegar
    1 1/2 c. granulated sugar
Preparation
    Peel the eggs.
    Combine the juice from the beets, vinegar and sugar.
    Dissolve sugar well.
    Add juice mixture and beets to eggs. Let stand 1 to 2 days in refrigerator.
    Eggs will get a deep red color like the beets as they stay in the juice.
    Good in salads or by themselves.
