Jello Ice Cream - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. sugar
    2 c. water
    1 pkg. strawberry Jell-O
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1 Tbsp. grated orange rind
    2 c. milk or half and half
Preparation
    Boil sugar and water for 2 minutes.
    Dissolve strawberry Jell-O in hot mixture.
    Add lemon juice and grated orange rind. Freeze until partly frozen; beat until fluffy.
    Blend well.
    Place in freezer.
    Freeze 1/2 hour.
    Beat again and freeze.
