Mexican Corn Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. yellow corn meal
    2 eggs
    1 small can yellow corn (cream-style)
    2 c. sharp cheese, shredded
    1 c. milk
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1/2 c. cooking oil
    1 can green chilies
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients except cheese and chilies; pour half of mix in greased baking pan.
    Spread 1 cup of cheese on top. Spread 1 layer of chilies on cheese.
    Spread remaining cheese over chilies.
    Cover with remaining batter.
    Bake at 450\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
    Cool before cutting.
