Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. shortening
    3 c. sugar
    7 large eggs, beaten
    2 tsp. vanilla
    3 1/2 c. plain flour
    1 box (small) sour cream, beat
    pinch of salt
Preparation
    Beat together shortening and sugar. Sift flour and 1 level teaspoon baking powder. Mix all ingredients and beat well. Grease and flour tube pan. Mix equal around pan. Bake at 300\u00b0 until done, approximately 2 1/2 to 3 hours.
