Angel Food Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. egg whites, from eggs at room temperature
1 1/4 c. flour
2 c. sugar
2 tsp. cream of tartar
2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. almond extract
1 tsp. salt
Preparation

Put egg whites in extra large mixing bowl.
Add cream of tartar, salt, vanilla and almond extract.
Whip by hand or with electric mixer until foamy.
Add 1 cup sugar, 2 tablespoons at a time, whipping between each addition.
Whip until peaks stand up very stiff.
Then sift 1 cup sugar and flour together three times. Sift small amount of flour and sugar over egg mixture and fold in with spatula until all flour mixture is added.
Pour into tube pan.
Bake in 400\u00b0 oven for 45 minutes.
