Goulash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. ground beef
    1 medium onion, chopped
    2 tsp. chili powder
    3/4 c. uncooked elbow macaroni
    2 c. tomatoes (save liquid)
    1 c. water
    1 3/4 c. kidney beans (save liquid)
Preparation
    Fry beef and onions in pan.
    Drain off fat.
    Chop tomatoes. Add tomatoes, kidney beans, chili powder, macaroni and liquids to beef mixture.
    Simmer, covered, about 20 minutes, until macaroni is tender, stirring occasionally to keep from sticking.
    Thin with a little water during cooking, if necessary.
    Makes 4 servings.
